NEWSHAM PARK

NEWSHAM PARK is made up of two lakes , one large lake split by a bridge, and a smaller round shaped lake. The larger lake at newsham park holds a good head of common and mirror carp into the high twenties.

There is a good footpath all the way round newsham park and the access is good. It can get a bit busy in the summer , but what lake doesnt, the carp average around the 18lb mark

Aswell as a good head of common and mirrors there are also some nice tench and bream and plenty of silver fish, there are also some big pike. There used to be a few cats but I heard they where netted cant be sure though.

newsham park lake is situated in tuebrook there are plenty of shops nearby and you can park on the road next to the lake, if any one has any more info or pics let me know through the forum……
